Well I guess I better go back to the beginning..... We were both 18 and working as telemarketers out by O'Hare airport in Chicago and it was not love at first sight! I thought he might be gay with all that perm he had and those paisley shirts didn't help either! He was tall & dark and man was he skinny and he didn't have much forehead ( not the case now). To make an 18-yr story short, he was there for me at a time when i thought no one was there and he made laugh when I was crying and brought a smile to my heart (I know, corny right?) Poncho has been my match made in heaven even when we both thought God got it wrong and we have had a ball so far these last 18 (married for 13) years raising our girls, all 5 of them, and sharing life with each other. We are so glad that we have people in our circle that have supported us and loved us and even pissed us off, because that is what family does. There are no words to thank you all for being there to help us along this path we call marriage and we hope that when this race is over, we can all meet at the finish line and just laugh.
We are simply taking time to thank God for how far he has brought us and to pray that he will be with us as we complete His journey. We are renewing our commitment to each other, our kids, and our family and friends. We will be vowing to continue to love and honor each other and also to nourish those relationships that are near and dear to us. We hope you can join us but if not, we will think of you as our ship sets sails into what I like to think of as Poncho & Tiff... The saga continues.
We will be leaving out of New Orleans, LA
We definately want to remember all our loved ones that could not be here to share our special day But i think the 2 most important people we want to remember and the 2 whom we both keep very close to our hearts are our mothers
